Maritime Gig Festival 2008 - It's A Wrap!
The 2008 Festival was a HUGE success! The weather cooperated. The parade was spectacular... a two-hour extravaganza! Everyone had a sensational time. Thanks to all who made it happen, and to all who came out to enjoy! See you again next year! Mark down the date: Saturday and Sunday, June 6-7, 2009.

The Maritime Gig Festival activities will take place downtown along Harborview Drive, between Pioneer and Rosedale, and along the waterfront near Jerisich Dock and Skansie Brother’s Park. From SR 16, take the "City Center" exit, and travel downhill on Pioneer Street. Harborview Drive between Pioneer and Rosedale will be closed to traffic on the day of the festival, and parking will be limited close to the festival site, so look for parking as you come down Pioneer and the shuttle. Festival Volunteers Needed
Is your talent face painting, blowing up balloons, directions, crowd control? Then the Maritime Gig needs you! Please call the office and volunteer some of your time to make this community festival a success. People are needed to help staff various festival events, from the parade to Kid's Fair to supporting entertainment stages.Call the Chamber of Commerce at 253-851-6865.
